For all of you wondering, Peter Mulvey WAS _all that_ and
more. He's an amazing musician. I'm frankly shocked that
OtR put someone so wonderful before them (as I've often
felt that they put polar opposites before them, Peter fits
into the "great music" category quite nicely). His guitar
technique was wonderful and lyrics brilliant. Helluva nice
guy, too.

Here's something to pique y'all until Shelly delves further
(plus, Linford told me not to write too much!): this is from
a postcard that will be mailed out soon to those in the mid-
west area, regarding the Christmas shows:

"The Christmas Tour will consist of an acoustic quartet
(Karin: vocals and guitar, Linford: piano et cetera, Chris
Dahlgren: Acoustic Bass and Brian Kelley: Drum kit) and will end
at the Emery Theatre where Ric will join the band. The
Emery Show will be the last concert featuring the original four-
members of Over the Rhine. Various guests will be present
throughout the tour and at the Emery Theatre"

I guess all I can say is that I know what this means, but
someone else will have to spell it out for ya.
